This entry documents a positive interaction with a specific physician. Unlike many other doctors encountered during my father's hospitalization, this physician demonstrated genuine engagement and compassion.

The physician took the time to sit with my father and utilize his communication device to discuss his goals of care.

My father clearly expressed his desire to be transferred to a chronic ventilator facility.
This interaction occurred approximately two months prior to another physician, whom I refer to as "the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing," madevher decision that ultimately resulted in my father's death.
