(Why I started this page)

1. Accountability & Justice

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves;

ensure JUSTICE for those being CRUSHED.

Speak up for the poor and helpless,

and SEE THAT THEY GET JUSTICE.

                         -Proverbs 31:8-9

2. Bring Awareness to Others

I once was lost but now Im found,

was blind but now I see.

                            -Luke 15-10

"The world of deamons, fallen Angels is real- a fact we need to know. We have to face up to this terrible reality, so that we do not fall unsuspectingly into their hands and come under their tyranny."

-Basilea Schlink

(Background)

Over the past few years, we have taken a special attention to health care workers. We have shown an overabundant amount of thanks and gratitude, for their hard work and continued care through unprecedented times.

First and foremost-

I do not want to come across as unappreciative. My dad was cared for by many wonderful, and knowledgeable doctors and nurses, who contributed to his care over the course of over a year- and for that I deeply thank you.

The good ones know who they are- because I did give thanks and credit to the ones who were due.

Empathy Deficit-

With that being said, I have seen the other side of the coin- The healthcare workers who have become fed up. Those who have been pushed to a point of lacking even the single tiniest drop of empathy.

Over the course of a year, I bore witness to some of the most deplorable, morally depraved and deceitful -FED UP health care workers- who are bleeding their burn out into patient care. There were only a few that let these true colours show, but they have left a forever lasting impression.

Wolves with "White Coats"

Their presence in my dad's life- had a hinderance to not only- his emotional well being. Their actions directly caused stress, trauma and eventually, a decision was made by them- to "no longer escalate treatment."

Their behaviour greatly affected the way he lived some of his FINAL days;

trapped in a place with some of the most heartless human beings I have encountered in my life.

You may feel compelled to give them a hall pass, based on their struggles over the past few years.

Trust me I understand.

However, I say  with confidence- when it is your closest family member- on their death bed- you will change your mind, and see things differently.
