Welcome to

Wolves in White Coats

On November 7, 2023, my life changed forever. That day, I lost my father—not to illness, but to a decision made by a doctor who altered his end-of-life treatment plan without consent. My father wasn’t just lost to us; he was taken, and the pain of that truth is something I carry with me every day.

I created this space to shed light on a story that no one should have to experience. Losing someone you love is devastating enough. But when that loss is the result of betrayal—when a doctor, someone you put your trust into,  makes a life-altering decision in secret—it becomes a wound that never fully heals.

Since uncovering the truth, I can think of little else. My mind is consumed by questions: How many other families has this happened to? How many lives have been altered by decisions made behind closed doors, under the guise of care?

We place so much trust in doctors, assuming they have our loved ones’ best interests at heart. But how many of us take the time to comb through thousands of pages of medical records? How often do we stop to ask if the decisions being made truly align with what’s best—or what we, as family members and decision-makers, would want?

I did look through those records. And what I found broke my heart all over again. Over the course of a year, I uncovered things that left me uneasy—details that pointed to corruption and unethical practices at this hospital.

What shocked me most was discovering that a doctor had unilaterally made a decision to end my father’s life—to “let him die.”

She did so without consent of my father, my brother, or me, despite the fact that we were his designated decision-makers. This wasn’t just a breach of trust; it was a betrayal of everything we had fought for as a family.

To make matters worse, this doctor lied in her notes, likely assuming I would never see them. But I did. And now, I’m sharing my father’s story, not just for him, but for every family who has ever felt powerless in the face of the medical system.

This isn’t just my father’s story—it’s a call to action. It’s a reminder to question, to investigate, and to advocate fiercely for the people we love. Because no one should have to endure the kind of loss I’ve experienced. And no one should have to wonder if their trust has been misplaced.

This is my father’s story. And I won’t stop fighting to make sure it’s heard.
